Zihao Zhang

About Me

I am now an associate professor at Institute of AI for Industry (IAII), Chineses Academy of Sciences. Before that, I was an assisstant professor at the Intelligent Processor Research Center, Institute of Computing Technology, CAS, advised by Prof. Yunji Chen. I obtained Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Computing Technology, CAS, before this, I did my bachelor's degree in the "Zhufeng Project" of mathematics at Sichuan University. I received the Young Scholars Fund from NSFC and the CAS international fellowship for postdoctoral researchers.

I am also a member and organizer of AnySyn3D

Research

My research interests lie in computer graphics and 3D vision, especially for embodiment intelligence. The ultimate goal is to develop embodied robotics for industrial scenarios. Currently, I mainly focus on the problem of navigation and manipulation.
